When we decide to buy a laptop, we often look for its specifications. We look at its processing speed, it’s RAM Type, Hard Drive type, it’s screen size, Graphics card specs and what not! Based on those we decide to buy any laptop.

If we want to buy a TV then we look at its refresh rate, its screen size and can it support 4K. We also look at whether the TV is smart or not, can that connect to Wifi and stream media for us. We ask so many questions and we research before we buy a TV set.

In a similar way, when we want to buy any LED Scree, we always have look at it’s pixel pitch.

What is Pixel Pitch?
A Pixel Pitch describes the density of pixels on LED displays. Each of those pixels are the tiny LEDs of the boards. Pitch Pixel refers to the resolution of the LED Screen. At times, it also refers to the amount of space between 2 pixels. A smaller distance between 2 pixels means better clarity in the picture. A bigger distance between 2 pixels means less resolution and clarity.

What are the ranges of Pitch Pixels
Pitch Pixel generally starts from P0.75mm and it can go up to P10.00mm.

What is the importance of each range in Pitch Pixels?
Pitch Pixel will define the viewing distance for the audience. If someone wants to view the LED Screen as close as 1 meter of distance then LED Screens with P0.75mm and P1.00mm pitch pixel will give them high resolution and excellent viewing clarity. But if the distance between the LED Screen and audience is going to be more than 10 meters then LED Screens with P03.90mm will be more appropriate choice.

Which Pitch Pixel to choose from?
As mentioned earlier, depending upon the viewing distance between the screen and audience, a Pitch Pixel can be decided.
If you would want to hire a LED Screen to showcase a sporting event in a garden where the viewing distance is more than 20 meters then by all means it makes more sense to hire LED Screen with Pitch Pixel P7.00
If you would want to display products and company videos or event some animation in a mall where viewing distance is going to be very small than 4 meter then by all means P2.8mm should be preferred.

How is the cost associated with each Pitch Pixel range?
Its very simple, just like a TV Set, a higher resolution TV will cost more than the lesser resolution. In a similar way, a Pitch Pixel P0.75mm will give higher resolution and hence that will cost exorbitantly high. A Pitch Pixel P3.9mm with moderate resolution will cost comparatively less then P0.75mm. A Pitch Pixel with P10.00mm will cost significantly less because it provide very low resolution.
